Christmas on 34th Street
This was only about 4:30 in the afternoon but it looks like it's 8PM already.
My husband and I donated some clothes to the Goodwill near Midtown yesterday. On the way there, we passed by a window with a pair of the most adorable and beautiful cats ever. I really wanted to pet them, but the store was closed, so we harassed them paparazzi-style.
Me - "Hellooooo you kitties! Look over here!"
Cat 1 - "Say John, don't you just hate it when commoners solicit photos of our beautiful selves for their own selfish reasons?"
Cat 2 - "Zen VHY ahr yu pozingk, le Bob?"
Then we walked to the Macy's on 34th Street (the famous one from the movie "Miracle on 34th Street") and looked at the window dressings. Even though we've lived in NY for a few years now, this is the first time we checked out Macy's famed windows (it's just too crowded!)

I ended up going inside and buying a new black wool coat. So much for cleaning out the closet and getting rid of clothes. Clever Christmas advertising strategies win again.
So many sparklies... @_@
Really? A freaking choo choo train? Do you know how old I am? I am not falling for this.
Anyway, hope you're all having a warm fuzzy holiday season. Even if you don't celebrate Christmas, enjoy all the pretty festive decorations because there is no escape :)
