Sunday Linky Party #43 + Goodies

Happy Sunday again! I'm not doing much this weekend... just preparing for the next one. I'm also spending some quality time with the husband, which is really nice. I think I need to sleep in a lot because last week was pretty busy. Has anyone tried shopping lately?? Probably not all that pleasant.

Anyway, here's to this week's features. I wish I had more time to make all of these! But of course, I wish I had more time in general :) Hope you had or are having a great weekend.

How cool are these tabletop moss topiaries? Not only do they look soooo interesting, they light up! (Just not shown in the above picture :) I love the containers she put them in too. Learn how to make your own from Crafting Rebellion.

I'm loving this gorgeous doily lamp shade, from Twigg Studios. It's relatively simple to make and looks so pretty. Just remember to use energy efficient light bulbs and not the regular ones that get really hot! :)

Do you like the patterned damask curtain in background? You too can make this beautifully patterned fabric, for curtains or anything else, by following the tutorial on From Gardners to Bergers.

Make brown sugar honey body scrubs as easy gifts/stocking stuffers! Since all the ingredients are edible... would it be wrong to eat some while slathering oneself? I'll leave that question for This Lil' Birdie and anyone one else making this to decide.

For some really unique Christmas ornaments, how about reusing old light bulbs? I think these are gorgeous and are a way to get very personalized. Check out the vintage-looking ones on the left at Av Susanne and the painted penguin ones on the right at Lady with the Red Rocker.

This is a beautiful wreath that will last for years and is easy (and pretty clean) to put into storage for the rest of the year. I love the depth created by the two shades of green in the leaves. It's so cute! Find the tutorial at Life of a Cheap Chickadee.

If you're looking for additional banner ideas, this one is great. It looks like one of those award ribbons and the accordion ruffles really make the letters pop out. Head over to Moments with the Montano's.

How adorable and delicious looking are these marzipan balls? I'm so amazed by how straight-out-of-the-pastry-shop these look. Anyway, have a plate at a party and I'm sure they'll be all gone by the end of the meal :) Thanks Nifty Thrifty Things!

Chip lovers with weak resistance to snacking, rejoice! Make yourself some apple chips :) If you overeat, at least you're getting some vitamins and fruit. Hooray for A Step in the Journey! Also check out her ornament cake balls.

If you're interested in more homemade candy/snacks, how about some maple cream drops? They're easy to make and also make great gifts. Just head over the Talking Dollars and Cents. Try her strawberry muffins and vegetable ground beef soup too!
