Anyway, he is incredibly mellow so we paid the adoption fee, picked him up, and took him immediately to the nearest Petco for a flea bath.
Here he is, looking sweet :) When we first got him, he was so used to being at the bottom of the pack that he wouldn't eat any food from his bowl, and when we gave him a treat, he picked it up and brought it to my mother-in-law instead. Only after she petted him and didn't take his treat did he start eating. I'm still teaching him to eat from his bowl and now he's a little better, although he still looks for approval before eating.
He also didn't know ANYTHING! Not his name, not "come," not "sit," nothing. But he's a fast learner and already responds to his name and sometimes to "sit"! Actually, he probably knew "no" from before because he looks guilty whenever we say it. He probably wasn't house-trained either, but he's been good so far. He's tolerant of almost everything, including being in a kennel, and he likes to curl behind someone's feet to sleep.
So that's Falcor! I could tell you more about him, like how his front legs are bowed from vitamin D deficiency as a pup (poor doggie), but maybe when he learns more stuff there will be an update :)

Aww... he looks like such a cutie, and those eyes look so sweet innocent. I bet he will turn out to be a very loving and loyal pet.
It's very sad that he started his life in suffering but I bet he will soon forget as he gets used to being your spoiled doggy.
I forgot to add, you are an angel for giving him a proper home and taking him into your heart
What a little cutie, enjoy him, he will adjust once he figures out that it is okay to trust you, if animals could talk the tales I am sure they would tell. You are a very special person to take on the responsibility of owning a rescue animal.
He's adorable. Welcome to the adoption club and congrats on the addition to your family.
