Sunday Linky Party #80 + Goodies

Hi all, here's to another good Sunday, I hope :) Been online shopping a lot, which is painful for my credit card, but being pregnant means baby stuff must be bought. Anyone have stroller or crib shopping tips? There are so many items, I don't even know where to start.

On another note, Halloween is coming up in a month so it's about time to start planning for decorations (especially if you're making them), so below are some great projects and recipes! Too bad you can't giveaway home-baked goods (for safety's sake), because they're much better than all those little candies!

Make these festive Halloween glass blocks with lights, and switch out the lights and message for Christmas and other holidays as well! These glass blocks can be bought at Home Depot, but you can use any glass container you want (that has a hole for the light cord). Find this tutorial at Alderberry Hill and check out her fall center piece project.

Add these painted pumpkins to your carved ones to add variety. The black paint streaming along the sides of the white pumpkins reminds me of long-legged spiders! Head to Art Club Blog for this and Gerhard Richter-inspired plexiglass painting lessons.

This is a great idea for those who want to keep their children's growth charts (usually marked along the kitchen door frame of one's home) forever, but usually, most people move at least once and those marks get left behind :( Well, thanks to Signs by Andrea, your problem is solved! This take-along wood growth chart is exactly what you need and it's not hard to make.

If you're of the creative kind (which you probably are), here's your chance to buy a bunch of plain white shirts in bulk and add your own fabric designs onto them. Don't you love this koi design and the gorgeous fabric Small Fine Print chose for it? Check out her diy hide-a-key tutorial, too!

How cool is this thread-sketching owl pillow? It's kind of like sketching, but with a sewing machine! You don't need a pattern, just "draw" what you want and if it's imperfect, then you've got it right. Great idea About Blogging Time!

Talk about a healthy pie! Get a piece of this nectarine pie with oatmeal cookie crust. Get this great recipe from Square Circle Works and impress your family and friends.

Jump head first into fall with this pumpkin molasses waffles recipe. The sweet spiced smell should get everyone out of bed in the morning! Find this at Sweet Boutique.

Apparently, these cookies are insanely delicious. So delicious, in fact, that The Kitchen is My Playground calls them insanely delicious turtle cookies. I think (in order to check just how delicious these are), I must make them myself!

Add more fall flavor to your tried-and-true desserts by making these pumpkin cinnamon rolls with maple glaze. Nothing like getting your hands on more pumpkins! Get this at Mommy's Sweet Confessions and try her apple pie mookies and pumpkin pie frozen yogurt sandwiches with nutella swirls.

More fall-inspired recipes! Try these cute spiced apple cupcakes with snickerdoodle cookie dough frosting from Lady Behind the Curtain. For another yummy recipe, try her caramel apple pie popcorn!
