Sunday Linky Party #94 + Goodies!

Here's to another weekend and another Sunday Linky Party! Just glad the days are getting longer again and it's not pitch dark when I'm driving home from work. There are a lot of cute tutorials/recipes this week, must be because Valentine's Day and the promise of Spring is coming soon! Hope you like the ones I chose! :)

Don't let winter and the inability to get some nice fresh flowers stop you from having flower-filled vases around the house. Follow Twigg Studios' tutorial for these beautiful crepe paper peonies and you'll be reminded of Spring in no time! Try these other tutorials, too: trinket box transformation, popsicle stick mini crate, and clay photo frames.

Looks good enough to eat, but don't eat it! Make these cinnamon spice non-edible "cookies" and either be evil and trick someone into biting one or, as I would suggest, glue magnets to the back and put them on your fridge! Find this at Shaken Together.

Upcycle an old sweater into this adorable little bear toddler hat! Save some money, save a nice soft sweater, and make your kid a very comfortable hat with this tutorial from Once Upon a Sewing Machine.

Since mustaches are all the rage, why not wear them in your hair? It makes perfect sense. Follow this tutorial from Sew Can Do and have yourself a pair of mustachio barrettes.

Another Valentine-appropriate bath/beauty creation from Soap Deli News! Make this natural hand-milled lavender dead sea salt milk soap for a nice relaxing bath (alone or with someone special). It'll sound really fancy and impressive when you tell him/her what it is and that you made it yourself. Check out her homemade dog biscuits and frugal tips for saving money.

Make these super cute strawberry heart cupcakes for Valentine's day or for your kid's class (like Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom did). It's very simple to make that heart shape, too! Try her chicken and broccoli pie as well.

Another food-on-the-go: light apple cinnamon muffins! These must be good for you, right? They sound so good. Make a batch for breakfast with this recipe from Lady Behind the Curtain, and try her light blueberry banana muffins, too.

Have a slice of this warm crumbly peach cobbler coffee cake with the recipe from Jam Hands. Try her delicious bacon-laced smothered chicken casserole, too!

Since it's still cold and winter-like (because it's still winter), it's still a good time for more soup recipes, like this skinny Crock Pot chicken and veggie chowder from Back For Seconds! Try her skinny fudge brownies with butterscotch drizzle as well.

Lastly, warm, classic, and satisfying molasses cookies from One Step Woman. This recipe is from her grandmother so it's an oldie and a goodie. Give this and her stuffed pepper soup a try.
